Experience
I have tutored middle school kids, high school students, and first-year college students. I am very patient and articulate and enjoy tutoring. I believe that my role as a tutor is to help the student make mental connections and associations with the material to gain more clarity and insight into new subject matters. I am always confident in the people I tutor and instead of simply giving away the answer to a problem, I help them learn the tools to find it themselves. I scored very well on both the SAT and GRE, within the top 15% of all students on each. My strong subjects are psychology, math, and English, but I have not taken Calculus or similar advanced math courses.
