History and Social Sciences are my passions, and I love helping my students become knowledgeable in them. I'm former military, and have been teaching for over ten years as I trained sailors for various tasks in the Navy. During my time in the military I've had the pleasure of traveling around Spain, various cities in Europe, and the western part of the United States. I've studied International Studies from Old Dominion University, along with a minor in Asian Studies. I have a master's in Government from Regent University, where I learned about American Government and Politics. I'm hoping to go back to school and earn my Juris doctor. I help students learn about American History, European History, AP Comparative Government and Politics, AP United States History, Geography, Social Studies, Writing, English, Government, US History, World History, AP Italian Language and Culture, High School Level American History, College Level American History, High School English, and College English. Besides helping others learn, I enjoy being close with my children. We play video games together. I'm also committed to running marathons and improving my goal for each race. I love languages too, and speak Arabic, Spanish and Mandarin Chinese along with Italian, my wife's native language.
