My strongest quality as a tutor is that I know and understand that every student learns differently. I know various teaching methods to ensure that no matter how it is that they learn best, I have a method to help. I have a knack for seeing what a student needs to move forward. It is my job to make my knowledge and presentations of it match the student's needs. I have a lot of academic and professional experience that contributes to me being an effective tutor. I have a Bachelor of Math and a Bachelor of Physics with a strong emphasis in engineering. Additionally, I have my Master of Education. For over ten years I worked as a secondary school teacher. I taught a full range of subjects from physical science through AP calculus and AP physics. I taught students of all backgrounds, from Ivy League to at risk. I am grateful that I have been able to get to know and work with such a diverse group of people in a wide variety of subjects. I have spent over ten years working as a project manager in a variety of fields. I love my current job, however, I miss working with students, so here I am! I am looking forward to being back in the world of academia.
