Experience
I have worked for Regent University's Writing Center for the past two-and-a-half years. I am currently their senior-most Writing Center Tutor, and I work consistently with Undergraduate, Graduate, and Doctoral students. I have also done some freelance editing for Graduate and Doctoral students on the side. I write both academically and creatively for my degree, which constantly stretches me to use both sides of my brain. My time at the Writing Center has provided me an expertise in helping students find, develop, and maintain an academic voice. I love directing students toward cultivating the clearest and most graceful form of their own writing. My desire is to pursue a Master's of Fine Arts in Creative Writing once I finish my undergraduate degree, so I would also love working with any students interested in creative writing. I prefer and have taken the most classes in fiction, but I have some experience with writing poetry and nonfiction as well. I have the most experience working with Undergraduate and up, but I would be thrilled to work with any high school students who would like to begin developing a suitable academic writing voice for college or who would simply like to receive help regarding basic grammar, sentence structure, and composition.

Hobbies
I'm a senior at Regent University, and I have a passion for writing. Outside of school, I write fiction, and I hope someday to be a Creative Writing professor at a university, a published author, or both. I'm also a huge sports fan, specifically in college basketball and soccer. I'm a diehard Indiana Hoosiers fan in college basketball, and I love cheering on USA in the World Cup every four years. Finally, I'm beyond excited that I will be marrying my beautiful fiance at the end of November.
