Experience
I've worked with children all my life, ever since I was young I would "play school" with the neighborhood kids. When I got out the Navy in 2011 I started my own daycare in which I implemented an extensive preschool program. After about a year of running my own business I started working for Virginia Beach City Public Schools. I am currently required to substitute teach in various areas and ensure the understanding of the knowledge I’m passing down to my students. I've worked with a variety of different class settings including; Gifted, ED/LD classes, and residential settings for children diagnosed with conduct/behavioral disorders. I am patient, proficient in the various areas I teach, and I love what I do!
