I graduated from Old Dominion University with a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies/Education in 2005.
Experience
In 2007, I completed 1 year of graduate studies from Old Dominion University to include Practicum. I Created and coordinated children’s activities and lesson plans for Larchmont Elementary School in Norfolk VA and New Castle Elementary School in Virginia Beach. My course-work included The Foundations, Observation, and Participation of Early Childhood, Applications of Technology, The Developmental Teaching of Reading, Human Growth and Development, Instructional Strategies PK-6th of Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies. In addition, I acquired 22 credits of Biology, History, Sociology and Psychology. My extensive studies have provided me with the ability to communicate, analyze, and deal effectively with people, as well as great insight into a variety of challenging issues many people are faced with.
