I graduated from Green Run High School with an advanced diploma in 2007. Continued my education at Tidewater Community College and obtained an Associate Arts degree in Liberal Arts. From there I transferred to Old Dominion University. I have obtaining my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and will be taking a short break before continuing on and getting a teaching license.

I was having difficulty in Social Studies and he was able to meet me at the after school program and help me to understand the material. That is what I would like to do with my students. I want to be able to help them understand the material easier. I want them to like to learn.

Hobbies
I like to read and I am continuously testing my knowledge base by learning new vocabulary words and learn a new random fact. For example, I learned that the name for the little plastic piece at the end of your shoe lace is called an aglet. I am also current on a lot of the newer shows that are being shown on Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network, and Disney Channel due to watching my god-sisters every so often. I know I can figure out a way to incorporate one of the students favorite television shows into their learning if it helps them to understand how to complete the work and to better enjoy the learning process.
