I attended Miami University of Ohio and I love to teach and tutor English and Spanish as a second language. This is something that I have a lot of experience with.I believe that the best way to help students learn the material is to carefully listen to their feelings and what their individual needs are. After grasping that, I work to tailor my tutoring style to the needs of the student. I find that assisting them with their organizational and study skills to also be a great help to them. I work hard to also assist my students with motivation, quiz and test preparation, gaining enjoyment from their work, and with special projects. Above everything else, I first listen to my students and their parents in order to learn just what it is that they want me to help with and then I focus on that.Some of the subjects that I do well with include essay editing, reading, writing, all levels of Spanish, ESL/ELL, English, and study skills.In my free time, I like to volunteer my time to teach literacy. I also enjoy reading and playing the guitar.
