I am a Certified Special Education teacher with Master's in Special Education from the University of Phoenix. I've taught both inclusion and resource classes for students with special needs. I taught at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. I've been a mentor for the STEM program and have tutored at the elementary school level in the schools. I home-schooled my son in high school. I have a Bachelor's of Science in Accounting from the University of Phoenix.
Experience
I was a Special Education Teacher for Virginia Beach City Public Schools for 8 years at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. I am passionate about helping students of all levels succeed. I home-schooled my son (now an adult) during high school. My students demonstrated significant gains throughout the school year. I was a tutor at the elementary school level for over 10 years.
