I am a graduate of CUNY Hunter College, where I earned a bachelor's degree in education. I subsequently studied at CUNY Queens College, earning a master's degree in education and becoming certified in school psychology. I have six years of experience as a school psychologist. For the last decade, I have homeschooled my own children and have also taught many other students in a variety of math subjects. Because of my education and training, I am well-equipped to help students with learning disabilities or other special needs. I find teaching and tutoring extremely rewarding, especially when I see my students reach their academic goals. I am available to tutor arithmetic, elementary math, middle school math, pre-algebra, and algebra. I can also help prepare students for the verbal, math, writing, and critical reading portions of the SAT.I live in picturesque Virginia Beach, Virginia, and when I'm not tutoring or teaching, I like to spend time reading and traveling.
