I tutor in several different sciences but my goal is to build students' desire to learn and, of course, understand the material that troubles them. The first goal is to foster the question development process and build confidence. I do coach students in asking the right questions. The goal of my method is the student does not feel overwhelmed or inadequate. The subjects I cover include biology, anatomy, organic/ physical chemistry, physiology, Earth science, life sciences, ecology, and AP-level chemistry and biology. I have experience with IB Sports, Exercise, and Health Science SL too.I started tutoring introductory science at Norfolk State University. A Dozoretz National Institute of Mathematics and Applied Sciences scholar, I was a part of the Caribbean Student Association and also the Minority Association of Pre-Health Students. Also, I helped undergraduates advance in subjects including calculus and English, as a member of my college's Student Support Services. I tutored with an off-campus program as well, in which I worked middle and high school age adolescents.I also attended Eastern Virginia Medical School and currently live in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
